Aha! See! No knocking! They DID forget to knock!
Eh, I like to think it was just a really, really dainty knock, almost below the levels that the average human can hear, but still there.
It was like those light knocks one makes while talking through a door to someone, more for show, but the voice (and given its Vadims Russian-dwarven voice) is what’s doing the proper “knocking” I’m sure they did their damnedest (save for fire & evil laughs) to get Cade’s attention, but he’s…indisposed of.
It was not a dainty knock. Vadim using two knuckles is the equivalent to a normal human’s knock. Vadim using all his knuckles might dent the door.
(Vadim is very strong)
Oh, but I ever so liked the idea of a dainty dwarf knock. The juxtaposition of the whole thing was just too good to not believe in.
They knocked. I need to add a sound effect it seems.
